Groups such as the Elderly, Persons with Mental Illness, the LGBTQ+ Community and our Veteran Population are more susceptible to suicide ideation than others. This program will address ways for you to become more successful in suicide prevention, harm reduction and rescue for these specialty groups and other members of the community.

As a direct result of current events and the diminishing respect and support for a law enforcement officers, the rate of officer involved suicide is again on the rise. Law enforcement officers are under more stress than ever before. Part of this training is to identify warning signs of depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD, the presence of mood disorders and other mental and behavioral health conditions that law enforcement officers are experiencing. This training program will provide information related to these strategies as well as Information on what prevention strategies police agencies must have in place in order to reduce the likelihood of officer suicide.
