Sheila Smith has 20 years of experience in law enforcement. Having worked for the Boston Police Department for 20 years, she has written, obtained, and managed approximately 10 million dollars worth of grants. Sheila has been active in all areas of technology, especially in records management system implementation and oversight. She has assisted Boston Police with implementing large technology projects, such as Body Worn Cameras, CopLink, and many other products. Her focus has always been making things easier for officers on the street.
Sheila also has extensive experience in transportation, where she was both an operational manager and an industrial engineering manager.
She holds a Masters Degree from Suffolk University, and a certificate in Project Management from BU. She graduated from Stonehill College with a degree in Mathematics.
