Chief Russ Stevens has over 37 years of Law Enforcement experience and is currently the Chief of Police in Hamilton Massachusetts. Prior to his current position, Chief Stevens served on the Connecticut State Police retiring as the Chief of Staff to the Colonel with the rank of Lieutenant.   He has been teaching a variety of topics to law enforcement agencies for the past twenty nine years. He has held a wide array of operational and administrative positions to include; Commanding Officer of the State Police Emergency Services Unit, Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Training Academy Deputy Commandant, Barracks Commander, Field Training Officer/Supervisor and SWAT Team LeaderChief Stevens is an adjunct professor at Merrimack College and is a graduate of the 232 Session of the FBI National Academy. He is the President of the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission and a Past President of the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association as well as the Municipal Police Training Institute. He holds a M.A. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Communications.
