Chief Ron Glidden (Ret.) has over 26 years of law enforcement experience (the last 17 as police chief). He has been an MPI instructor for more than ten years and teaches firearms legal updates, leadership, and interpersonal communication classes.
Chief Glidden is also a trainer on leadership and communication skills topics. He has been an instructor for MPI’s Executive Development Serious for numerous years, and has taught police supervisors in his “Leadership Communications” class at numerous locations throughout the state.
Chief Glidden is also owner of Glidden Training & Consulting, LLC. Through his business, he has taught various leadership topics to police officers throughout the eastern United States. Chief Glidden also serves as President of MPI. In the role of President, he has helped organize and has conducted leadership training for both the annual chiefs training conference, and the annual sergeants training conference.
