The Police reform Bill passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor creates mandates and obligations in Police Supervision and Leadership which significantly impact the duties, responsibilities and obligations of both leaders and supervisors.  This seminar will focus on those mandates, obligations, duties, and responsibilities created by the law.

Duty to Intervene, Duty to report, Duty and responsibility to De-Escalate, Use of Force obligations and requirements, Internal Affairs mandates and requirements, Immediate reporting requirements, Suspensions, and revocation of certifications for Failing to report violations cited in the law, failing to intervene, Mandated revocation of certification for a wide variety of violations stated in the law, time frames for reporting information to POST.
