Overview

In this self-paced on-demand training, students will become familiar with the disability anti-discrimination provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Chapter 151B of the Massachusetts General Laws.

Students will:

  • Understand the theories of disability discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Chapter 151B
  • Be able to articulate the legal standards for protection under the ADA and Chapter 151B
  • Understand which types of medical examinations and inquiries are permitted, and when
  • Become familiar with the reasonable accommodation interactive process under the ADA and Chapter 151B
