Troubleshooting FAQRecommended SystemAlthough MPItraining.com is accessable by almost any browser type and version, there are a couple configurations that we have found to work best with the MPI website. These two simple steps usually eliminate most problems:
MPI's training programs are built with Powerpoint and Adobe Presenter and are streamed by the Adobe Connect Pro server.   Our videos are compressed at a data rate of no greater than 600Mbps, with most falling well under this rate.  These training programs rely on the Flash media player to play back  on a user's computer.  Having the proper Flash player and enough internet bandwidth are the two most critical factors in maintaining a smooth user experience.  We have provided links to download the Flash player and are currently integrating a Flash player detection component on our website to further streamline this process. To determine a user's internet bandwidth speed we have provided a link to a site that calculates how much bandwidth a given computer has available.  Go to www.speedtest.net and follow the onscreen directions to determine your connection rate. If your connection is less than .5mbps then you should ask your IT department to increase your connection speed. (NOTE: It is recommended that users have at least a broadband connection (DSL, Cable Modem, FIOS, T1).  Wireless connections are not recommended for Adobe Connect due to intermittent dropouts.)
